Activate IDM permanently

Internet Download Manager (IDM) is a tool to increase download speeds by up to 5 times, resume and schedule downloads. Comprehensive error recovery and resume capability will restart broken or interrupted downloads due to lost connections, network problems, computer shutdowns, or unexpected power outages. Simple graphic user interface makes IDM user friendly and easy to use.Internet Download Manager has a smart download logic accelerator that features intelligent dynamic file segmentation and safe multipart downloading technology to accelerate your downloads. Unlike other download managers and accelerators Internet Download Manager segments downloaded files dynamically during download process and reuses available connections without additional connect and login stages to achieve best acceleration performance. 

The main problem is that you have to buy it after a trial time and users like me doesn't like to spend money on these things . So i'm posting a trick to activate it permanently.

PROCEDURE :

1. Find hosts file in ur C Drive (In windows 7 it is located in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc)
2.  Copy it to desktop and now on desktop open it with notepad (Right click on it, select open with and choose notepad).
3.  Add (copy paste) the following lines (in bold fonts) at the end of whole text in this hosts file -

127.0.0.1 www.registeridm.com
127.0.0.1 secure.registeridm.com

    4. Now close it, it will ask to save - Select YES to save the changes. Open it again to check if its done properly, it should look like this -

 
   5.  Now copy this file on desktop and paste it back in the folder from where we got it (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc)
It will ask what to do as file with same name already exists in that folder- Select Copy and Replace option.
   6.  Close this window, now open IDM (Download Link), register with this key - FK7Q4-ADBGQ-O3ZKK-QO3KR.


 WARNING: USE THIS KEY ONLY AFTER PATCHING THE HOST FILE PROPERLY FOLLOWING ABOVE STEPS, OTHERWISE THIS KEY WILL BE BLACKLISTED FOR U.
